Moss is a local-first application. Your notes are stored as files on your computer and are never uploaded to our servers.
When you visit our website or use the auto-update feature, we may automatically collect:

- Basic usage metrics and event tracking
We do not use browser fingerprinting or cross-site tracking pixels.

Moss does not require an account. If you contact us for support, we may collect your name and email address to respond to your inquiry.
3. AI Features
When you use the built-in AI agent, note content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. This data is processed according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not store or have access to the content of your AI interactions.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
II. How We Use & Share Information
We do not rent, sell, or trade your personal information. We use the information we collect to:
